ED Closures

Central Peace Health Complex ED closed until 10 p.m.

The Central Peace Health Complex Emergency Department will be closed from 12:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. this evening, (Thursday, August 3) due to a nursing shortage.

However, AHS said in the release, the ED could re-open sooner if coverage is found.

At this time, nursing staff will remain in the Acute Care facility during the closure.

Residents are still asked to call 911 in case of an emergency, as EMS will be rerouting calls to neighboring facilities.

AHS says they are working hard to ensure residents have proper access to continued care, and apologize for any issues this may cause.
