City of Grande Prairie releases 2022 Annual Report

The City of Grande Prairie is highlighting how City Council supported strategic priorities last year.

The City has released the 2022 Annual report online alongside a video showcasing some of last year’s projects.

Councillor Kevin O’Toole spotlighted the opening of the Activity Reception Centre in January.

“Located in the Smith Subdivision, it provides access in areas of town previously without rec facilities,” O’Toole says. “The Facility offers recreation and leisure amenities and programming, with a focus on youth, drop-in opportunities and activities with limited opportunity to play in other venues.”

Councillor Gladys Blackmore discussed the various community engagement events held in 2022.

“In 2022 the City held more than 10 such public engagement projects,” Blackmore says. “Including a resident satisfaction survey, a Richmond Park Industrial Revitalization, and storm management.”
