Beaverlodge Hospital ED closed for 12-hours tonight

Due to the inability to secure physician coverage, there will be no on-site physician overnight at Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department on Thursday, August 17.

From 8:00 p.m. Thursday to 8:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 911 callers with medical emergency situations will be rerouted to Grande Prairie Regional Hospital for treatment.

Nursing staff will remain on-site to provide urgent triage and assessment and referrals for patients to alternate Emergency departments.
