Grande Prairie golfer set to compete at the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur

A local Grande Prairie Golfer is taking part in the Canadian Men’s Mid-Amateur golf tournament, at the Algonquin Resort in St. Andrews New Brunswick, which is set to begin on Sunday, August 20.

Darcy Bateman, who golf’s out of the Grande Prairie Golf & Country Club qualified for the tournament by finishing in the top 22, at the Alberta Men’s Mid-Amateur Championship at the Windermere Golf Course in Edmonton, at the end of July.

Bateman, who is only one of twelve Albertan golfers at this tournament, is now looking to become the best Mid-Amateur in the country.
