Wolves soccer, running teams open their seasons this weekend

Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves soccer will open the season at home Saturday and Sunday versus Portage College from Lac la Biche.

Game times will be 2:30 and 4:30 Saturday, noon and 2:00 Sunday at CKC Field, starting with the women’s game both days.

Both squads have new coaches this year. David Rojas is coaching the men’s team while Catherine Ridgeway will lead the women’s side.

The Wolves cross-country running team will be in Edmonton Saturday for the first Grand Prix of the season. Concordia University is the host side.
