The City of Grande Prairie is encouraging residents to celebrate Neighbour Day Saturday.
City council is encouraging residents to reach out and introduce themselves to their neighbours by organizing neighbourhood activities like:
- A community barbecue, picnic, or potluck.
- A driveway or sidewalk art competition using sidewalk chalk.
- Invite a neighbour over for coffee.
- Have a yard sale.
- Fill out the Know Your Neighbour Card.
- Do a garden tour party.
- Start a walking or running group.
