Another Calgary daycare reports case of E. coli
CALGARY β Another daycare in Calgary has been closed after a child tested positive for Shiga-toxin-producing E. coli.
The child fell ill around the same time as an outbreak related to 11 daycares that shared a central kitchen.
Alberta Health Services says itβs investigating whether the case at Calgary J-C-C Child Care is connected to the Fueling Brains outbreak that infected hundreds and sent dozens of children to hospital.
The co-founder of Fueling Brains, Faisal Alimohd, says his team is devastated and working to determine what happened.
