Mounties identify August hit and run vehicle, but no driver

Grande Prairie RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance to identify the driver of a vehicle of interest in a hit and run last month.

A pedestrian hit and run occurred on August 29 near the Paradise Inn in Grande Prairie between 5:00 p.m and 6:00 p.m., leaving the pedestrian with multiple broken bones.

The suspect vehicle has been identified thanks to the public, and is described as:

• Mid-size red S.U.V.
• Chrome front grill
• Chrome roof rack
