Curling
The Calgary Curling Club is hosting the Autumn Gold Classic this weekend.
Kayla Skrlik’s team beat Rhonda Varnes from Winnipeg 9-3 in six ends in their first game Friday afternoon.
Skrilik’s next game will be part of the 9 p.m. draw Friday.
Soccer
The Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves soccer teams will host NAIT on Saturday and Sunday.
Game times are 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. Saturday and noon and 2 p.m. Sunday with the women’s game first both days.
