Secret Santa for A Senior initiative awarded Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal

The Secret Santa for A Senior initiative has been awarded the Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Medal in recognition of their efforts in bringing cheer to seniors.

Co-organizer Sue Morrison was presented with the award after being nominated by Central Peace-Notley MLA Todd Loewen.

The initiative works to provide Christmas gifts and meals to seniors in the region, including in long-term care assisted living apartments.

The initiative delivered over 1220 gifts in 2022.
