More disruptions for Beaverlodge ED

Alberta Health Services has announced more disruptions because of a lack of physician coverage in the emergency department at the Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital.

AHS says there will be no doctor on site until 8 p.m. Friday, November 3, from 8 a.m. Saturday, November 4 until 8 a.m. Sunday, November 5 and from 7 p.m. Sunday, November 5 until 8 a.m. Monday, November 6.

Nurses will still be there for assessments and referrals.

People can still call 911 during an emergency. Paramedics will be rerouted to the Grande Prairie Regional Hospital.
