Arctic Winter Games speed skating qualifier and camp happening at Design Works Centre Nov 17-19

Speed skaters from Alberta and BC will be in Grande Prairie Saturday to attempt to qualify for the Arctic Winter Games.

Peace Wapiti Speed Skating Club is hosting the event as well as organizing a speed skating camp over the weekend, with Calgary-based Grizzlies Speed Skating Club head coach Joffrey Larocque and Swedish national skater Ranya Ezzi as the instructors.

The qualifier is open for the public to watch.

It’s happening at the Design Works Centre Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
