STARS air ambulance presents service report to Grimshaw council

Air ambulance service STARS has recognized the Town of Grimshaw Council for their ongoing support.

STARS Liaison Glenda Farnden attended council’s November 22 meeting to present a plaque honoring the community as well as to provide an update on their operations in the region.

Since 2010, 28 of the 104 area residents flown for emergency medical care by STARS were picked up in Grimshaw.

The town provides financial support to the air service and will consider a recent funding request from STARS during budget deliberations.
