University of Alberta makes top 30 for World’s Sustainable Universities list

The University of Alberta is in the Top 30 for most sustainable universities in the world for 2024.
The list was created by QS World University Rankings to uncover which of the world’s universities are leading the way in social and environmental sustainability, with the University of Alberta ranking at 28.
Indicators designed to measure institution abilities to tackle environmental, social and governance challenges, were used to create the list of over 1,390 Universities.
The University of Calgary tied for 68th place on the list and the University of Toronto took home the top spot at First Place.
