Comp., Leisure Centre demolition to finish in early 2024 says Alberta Infrastructure

Alberta Infrastructure says demolition at the old Comp. high school and the Leisure Centre will be finished early in 2024.

In an email to EverythingGP, the province adds that material will be moved from the site and vegetation re-planted through the spring and summer.

City Hall is looking at plans for the empty land that include new recreation facilities.

There is also an idea to put up a sports dome on vacant land near the demolition site.
