Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital ED without on-site physician for 15 hours

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be without an on-site physician the evening of Monday, December 11.

Due to the inability to secure physician coverage, there is expected to be no on-site physician from 5:00 p.m. Monday until 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 12.

During this time, nursing staff will remain on-site to provide triage,assessments, and referrals to alternate ED’s in neighbouring communities.

If people call 911 with a medical emergency, EMS remains available to transport them to Grande Prairie Regional Hospital for treatment.
