Grande Prairie man charged with murder after death of another Grande Prairie man
RCMP says a Grande Prairie man is facing a charge of first-degree murder after the death of another man earlier this month.
Twenty-nine-year-old Nathan Landry appeared in Grande Prairie court Monday, December 11. He has been remanded into custody and is due back in court on January 8.
Mounties say the charge comes after the death of 34-year-old Brian Buchaski on December 4 in a wooded area near Westside Park, which is west of Muskoseepi Park and south of 100 Avenue.
Police say Buchaski was identified by checking fingerprints. The Medical Examiner concluded his death was a homicide.
