Mounties looking for identity fraud suspect in Peace River

Police in Peace River are asking for the publics assistance in identifying a suspect in identify fraud.

Peace Regional RCMP say on Thursday December 7, 2023, they received a report of a lost wallet and bank cards being used at several locations in downtown Peace River.

Security camera footage from a business taken of the suspect was obtained by Mounties.

The suspect is described as:

  • Male
  • Light to medium complexion
  • Mole or tattoo under left eye

At the time the lost cards were used at the business the male suspect was wearing blue jeans, dark shoes, a black sweater with the left arm saying – TRANSPORT LTD.
