UPDATE: County of GP asks residents to avoid 113 Ave in Clairmont

UPDATE:

County Crews have finished cleaning up the oil spill on 113 Avenue.

In the release, The County thanked residents for their patience and cooperation during the spill.

The County of Grande Prairie is asking residents to avoid 113 Avenue, between 95 Street and 96 Street, as County Transportation and Utilities Crews clean up an oil spill.

At this time, the spill has been contained and isn’t an immediate danger to the public or the environment.

An investigation is currently underway, and crews ask any residents living on 113 Ave, to avoid parking on the south side of the street until crews have completed the cleanup.

In the release, the County says an update will be provided when crews have finished the clean-up.
