UPDATE: Beaverlodge won that game 8-7 in overtime

The first game of 2024 for the Northwest Junior Hockey League is set for Wednesday night in Beaverlodge.

The Blades host Dawson Creek.

The game starts at 8 p.m.

The Blades are 13-18-0 on the season so far, good for 26 points. The Kodiaks are 13-14-3 and have 29 points.

NPHL

The North Peace Hockey League’s 2024 schedule opens Thursday in Grande Prairie.

The A’s host Spirit River. The face-off is at 8:30 p.m. at the Design Works Centre.

Storm corrected from an earlier version

The next game for the Storm is Friday on the road in Camrose.

Game time will be 7 p.m.

Grande Prairie will be in Blackfalds for games Saturday starting at 6 p.m. and Sunday starting at 2 p.m.
