Christmas tree curb collection until the 26th

Aquatera is once again collecting natural Christmas trees following the holiday season.

Residents in the City of Grande Prairie can place their real Christmas trees outside for curb collection, which must be at least one metre away from their garbage cart on collection day.

Trees also must be cut to four feet or less and have all decorations and lights removed for pick up.

Artificial trees are not eligible for curbside collection, but they are accepted at landfills.
