Joint use facilities for local school divisions planned for Fairview

Two local school divisions are working to develop joint-use facilities in the town of Fairview.
The Grande Prairie & District Catholic School Division’s Board of Trustees passed a motion adding a K-9 facility to their capital plan at their December 18 meeting, while the Peace River School Division’s Board passed a similar motion for a K-6 facility at their January 18 meeting.
Adding the facilities to their capital plans show both divisions are willing to collaborate on creating a new education facility for students in Fairview.
