UPDATE: Heavy police presence in Rycroft over

UPDATE: Spirit River RCMP say the police incident in Rycroft Friday ended just before midnight.

Spirit River RCMP say there is a heavy police presence on the 4600 block of 54 Street in Rycroft.

Reasons for police being called out were not given.

Mounties are asking the public to avoid the area and to not post anything about police actions on social media.

RCMP say there will be an update when more information is available.
