Grande Prairie hosting Black History Month events
Black History Month is in full swing in Grande Prairie, and several events celebrating diversity and inclusion are coming up soon.
On Saturday, February 10, the Grande Prairie Public Library is hosting a seminar centred around core diversity topics such as cultural awareness, cultural competence, and unconscious bias, with an effort to shed light on the black experience in Canada and Alberta.
The seminar is taking place at the Rotary Community Room from 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Then next Tuesday, February 13, M3M Studios will be hosting a Colours of Commerce Business mixer, working to connect professionals from diverse backgrounds and explore collaborative opportunities.
