Peace Wapiti Public School Division celebrating 2023 Academic Excellence Award recipients

The Peace Wapiti Public School Division is recognizing 11 graduates for their academic excellence in 2023.

The annual PWPSD Academic Excellence Awards are presented to students either having an average of at least 90 per cent or were the top academic students in their school.

In 2023, Ainsley Martin of Beaverlodge Regional High School was recognized for earning the top marks in her school, while Sexsmith Secondary School graduate Lane Muggaberg was congratulated as having the highest average across the division.

The remaining award recipients include:

• Dillan Klassen, Ridgevalley School
• Aron Derksen, Savanna School

• Nathan Macdaid, Spirit River Regional Academy
