Peace Country players at the Brier

Some players with ties to the Peace will be playing in this year’s Brier.

It will go from March 1 to March 10 in Regina.

Brad Gushue’s Team Canada, with Beaverlodge’s Geoff Walker at lead, will play Nova Scotia is Draw 1 Friday night.

Also in Draw 1, Kevin Koe plays Aaron Sluchinski in a rematch of the Alberta provincial men’s final won by Sluchinski.

Catlin Schneider’s B.C. champions include third Sterling Middleton from Fort St. John and second Jason Ginter from Dawson Creek.
