UPDATE: Police operation at Cadotte Lake over

UPDATE: Peace River RCMP say that the police operation in Cadotte Lake is now over. Police are thanking everyone for their cooperation.

Peace River RCMP are advising the public of a heavy police presence in Cadotte Lake on Highway 986 due to a firearm-related call.

There have been no reported injuries and police have the suspects contained in a residence.

The public is being asked to avoid the are and that no photos or information regarding responding officer not be placed on social media until after the incident is over.

Once the scene has been cleared, a release will be sent out.
