RCMP identify human remains found near Clairmont as Grande Prairie Resident

Human remains discovered near Clairmont have been identified as a Grande Prairie Resident.

On March 14, Grande Prairie RCMP responded to a report of found human remains on Range Road 55.

RCMP have identified the deceased as 34-year-old Grande Prairie resident Echer Marcial, and the RCMP Major Crimes Unit is considering the death suspicious.

An autopsy is being conducted Monday at the office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Edmonton.

Mounties are requesting anyone that may have video surveillance in the area where the remains were found or has dash cam footage from the area between March 13 and 14 to please contact Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5700, or your local police.
