Over $496k bid at WPCA Stompede Cavas Auction

The unofficial start to the 2024 World Professional Chuckwagon Association Pro Tour took place Saturday.

The WPCA held it’s tarp auction at Evergreen Park, auctioning advertising opportunities with 40 chuckwagon drivers as part of the build up to the Grande Prairie Stompede.

The total of all bids at the auction was $496,750, down slightly from last year’s sale due to fewer participating wagons.

2023 World Reserve Champion Jamie Laboucane had the highest bid of $40,000.
