Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital emergency department without a physician 11 a.m. March 18 – 8:00 a.m. March 19

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be without an on-site physician tonight (Monday, March 18).

Due to the inability to secure physician coverage, there is expected to be no on-site physician from 11:00 p.m. Monday until 8:00 a.m.Tuesday morning.

During this time the nursing staff will remain on-site to provide triage and assessments and potential referrals to emergency departments in neighbouring communities.

If patients call 911 with a medical emergency, EMS remains available to transport them to Grande Prairie Regional Hospital for treatment.
