Rising Above fundraiser collects over $354,000

Grande Prairie’s Rising Above Ministry says in a social media post that its Hope Lives Banquet held Saturday at Evergreen Park raised $354,194.55.

The post says this was the most money raised at a single event and that 760 people were there.

The money raised will go into operations.

Rising Above also says that construction of its new three-storey building to be located close to the current one in the old Young Offenders Centre, will start this year.
