City of GP to begin Pest Control Operations in April

Pest control operations in Grande Prairie kick off in April.

The City of Grande Prairie will be working to eliminate noxious weeds, insects and plant diseases using products registered with Health Canada’s Pest Management Regulatory Agency.

Mosquito control operations will be applied to standing water locations where larvae reside, using a larvicide that is environmentally friendly and target-specific.

The work is happening within the City’s Mosquito Control Boundary.
