Team Canada Defeat Scotland at Men’s Wold Curling Championships

Team Canada has defeated the reigning champions at the World Men’s Curling Championships.
The Brad Gushue Rink faced off with Team Scotland’s gold medal winning team from last year, winning 8-4 Sunday, March 31, in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.
Team Gushue is led by Beaverlodge product Geoff Walker, who has competed in the men’s Championships six times, previously winning gold in 2020.
Team Canada next goes up against Team Italy Monday, April 1.
