City of Grande Prairie begins annual post-winter cleanup

The City of Grande Prairie is inviting residents to participate in a post-winter City-wide cleanup.

The annual City Scrub is on now from April 2-30, with residents encouraged to spend at least 20 minutes picking up and disposing of winter debris and litter left in local parks and nearby areas.

The City will be giving away free supplies like garbage bags and gloves throughout the Scrub at multiple locations, including City Hall, Muskoseepi Park, Eastlink Centre, and the Grande Prairie Museum.

Large group supplies can be organized by emailing the City.
