Dust suppression applications now available for City residents

The City of Grande Prairie is now accepting dust suppression applications until April 26.

Residents and business owners located next to a gravel road can now visit the City’s website and fill out a Dust Suppression Application in the permit library.

The application fee is $440 for residential and $600 for commercial, for every 100 metres of road.

The City did want to remind residents the dust control calcium chloride treatment agent “effectiveness cannot be guaranteed, and is dependent on factors, like weather.”
