Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital ED closed for 24 hours

The Beaverlodge Municipal Hospital Emergency Department will be without an on-site physician for 24 hours starting on Monday, April 8.

From 8 a.m. on Monday, until 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 9, nursing staff will remain on-site to perform urgent triage, assessments and referrals to neighbouring facilities.

AHS also asks anyone experiencing a medical emergency during the closure, to still contact 911, as EMS will be available and rerouting calls to nearby hospitals.

If coverage is found, this ED closure could be cancelled.
