PRSD Board of Trustees approves debenture for renovations at Central Operations building

The Peace River School Division’s Board of Trustees has approved a $750,000 debenture to move forward with repairs to the central operations building in Grimshaw.

Previous renovations to the property did not include the heating and cooling system, resulting in several spaces that are frequently either uncomfortable war or cold, with no ability for staff to control the temperatures.

The debenture will upgrade the HVAC system and allow staff to better control the temperature in their office spaces with individual thermostats and
