NWP launching Agriculture Operations diploma Fall 2024

Northwestern Polytechnic is launching a new program in the fall to train the next generation of agriculture professionals.

The two-year Agriculture Operations diploma will provide a solid foundation in the operation and maintenance of equipment, evolving technology, and industry trends in the agricultural industry.

In addition, the program will include two extensive work terms where students can develop practical skills alongside experienced growers and other professionals.

Dean of Applied Science and Technology Dr. Brian Redmond says the program will provide a balance of theoretical and practical knowledge for aspiring grain and livestock professionals.
