Applications being accepted

Residents invited to get involved with the City’s Canada Day celebration

The City of Grande Prairie is now accepting applications to join in on their Canada Day festivities.

In the release, the City said this is an “unmatched opportunity to showcase your organization,” as residents can either enter a float in the parade or occupy booth space in Muskoseepi Park.

Applications for both a float and booth space can be found on the City’s website.

This year’s parade theme is; “Coast to Coast.”

On Canada Day, (July 1) the parade will get underway at 2 p.m. starting on 108 Avenue.
