4-H Achievement Days underway

Monday, May 13 is a big day for the Bezanson and Kleskun 4-H Multi Clubs.

They are hosting their Achievement Day today at Evergreen Park.

Organizers say the participants and their cattle are safe, even with wildfires and smoky conditions.

There are 39 4-H members that will be selling their steers tonight.

The sale will take place Monday night at 7:00 PM.

There are several other Achievement Days coming up around the Peace. They include:

Coyote Acres 4-H Club May 24. The sale starts at 4 p.m. at the High Prairie Agriplex. The sale is expected to include 14 steers and market hogs.

West County 4-H Achievement Day goes May 27 at the Ed Brown & Ed Hotte Ag. Complex. Show at noon, sale at 7 p.m. It will include the Beaverlodge 4-H Beef Club and Grande Prairie 4-H Multi Club

Berwyn Multi-Coveralls 4-H Club May 27. The sale of 11 steers and sheep starts at 7 p.m. at the Lac Cardinal Museum.

Saskatoon Mountain 4-H Multi Club June 1 at the Saskatoon Lake Community Hall.

Ridgevalley 4-H Multi Club June 3. The sale will start at 7 p.m. at the Valleyview Ag Plex and include 34 steers.

Wildrose 4-H Multi Club June 3. The sale, which will include 40 steers, starts at 7 p.m. at the Hollingworth Arena in Valleyview.

Montagneuse 4-H Multi Club June 3 at the Dave Shaw Arena in Hines Creek. The show will start at 12:30 p.m. with the sale to follow at 7 p.m.

East West Woking 4-H Club June 8. The sale of 16 steers will start at 7 p.m. at the MacLean Rec. Centre in Spirit River.

Dixonville 4-H Multi-Club June 8. Show at 1 p.m., sale at 7 p.m. at the riding arena.

Lakeview 4-H Multi Club and the Grande Prairie 4-H Multi Club June 10. Show start time will be 2 p.m., followed by the sale at 7 p.m., at the Teepee Creek Ag. Events Centre. There will be 28 cattle and sheep sold.

Fairview 4-H Multi Club August 24. Start time will be 1 p.m. at the Tech Hawker Pavilion. There will be 14 steers and sheep on offer.
