Evacuation order lifted

Evacuated MD of Greenview residents allowed to return home

The MD of Greenview has downgraded its evacuation order for the North Goodwin Area.

However, residents returning home to the previous evacuation zone will remain on a two-hour evacuation alert, in case the current wildfire conditions change.

The MD added that all residents living outside of the previous evacuation zone should “still be prepared to evacuate on short notice,” as conditions can change rapidly during wildfire season.
