City of GP holding public hearing on Proposed Secondary Suite June 3

The City of Grande Prairie is holding a public hearing next week to discuss proposed amendments to the regulations governing secondary suites.
Residents will be able to share their opinions on the matter before Grande Prairie City Council makes their decision.
The proposed amendments include allowing secondary suites in semi-detached dwellings, removing floor area restrictions for basement suites, and reducing parking requirements to one space less than the number of bedrooms.
The public hearing is happening Monday, June 3, and open house events to inform residents about the proposed amendments are happening at Teresa Sargent Hall on May 28 and 29.
