WPCA Grande Prairie Stompede day four recap

The final night for the Grande Prairie Stompede Chuckwagon races is officially set.

Local driver Chanse Vigen and last year’s Ralph Vigen Memorial award winner had the fastest time of day four with a time of 1:16.58 but failed to make it to the Sunday Championship Heat.

During Sunday’s races Stompede leader Jamie Laboucane secured the Ralph Vigen Memorial Award and the use of a brand-new GMC truck. While Hayden Motowylo and Kale Lajeunese also took home the Ralph Vigen Memorial Award as Outriders.

Layne MacGillivray missed the final heat by thirteen-one-hundredths of second, thanks to Wade Salmond’s 1:18.36 finish.

Now the fifth and final night of Chuckwagon racing will get going tonight at 7:00 p.m.
