Jun 5, 2024 | 7:03 PM

Representatives from the Government of Alberta will be travelling to Grand Forks, North Dakota, to promote Alberta’s energy sector.

Minister of Affordability and Utilities Nathan Neudorf and MLA Shane Getson will be attending the Energy Council’s 2024 State and Provincial Trends in Energy Environmental Issues Conference on June 7 on behalf of the province.

“Alberta is a global energy leader with a history of developing innovative solutions to difficult issues facing the sector. This is a venue to tell Alberta’s energy story, share how our province is taking its electricity grid to the next level and learn about the work other jurisdictions are undertaking to address important energy challenges,” says Getson, Parliamentary Secretary for Economic Corridor Development

The conference provides the opportunity to meet and connect with officials from other provinces and states and communicate the province’s plans to keep electricity in Alberta affordable, reliable, and sustainable.

Neudorf and Getson will travel with one staff member. Mission expenses will be posted on the travel and expense disclosure page.
