Bi-annual Seniors Tea taking place at Evergreen Park June 13

The Family and Community Support Services teams at the City and County of Grande Prairie and the Towns of Beaverlodge, Sexsmith, and Wembley are holding their Bi-annual Seniors’ Tea Event at Evergreen Park Thursday.

The event, presented by CatWauk Compression Ltd., will feature refreshments, snacks, musical entertainment and door prize draws to entertain guests and recognize to contributions of seniors to their community.

Mayor Jackie Clayton says it is part of City Council’s strategic priority to develop opportunities that enhance the quality of life for all ages.

The event is happening at the TARA Centre from 12:30 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
