Mud bogs, baseball this weekend

Besides the jet boat races. there are some other sporting events this weekend, including mud bogs and a busy time for some baseball teams.

Mud Bogs

The Peace Country Offroad Racing Association will host the Wembley Mud Bogs Saturday and Sunday.

Gates open at 11 a.m. both days at the Stacy Krahn Memorial Motorsports Park.

The show starts at 1 p.m. on Saturday, noon on Sunday.

Wheatbelt Baseball

In the Wheatbelt Baseball League Saturday, the County Brewers are in Manning.

Sunday, High Prairie travels to Manning.

Those games both start at 1 p.m.

Reds Baseball

The U11 AA Reds play St. Albert Saturday at 3 p.m., the Edmonton Padres Sunday at 9 .a.m. the Southwest Edmonton White Sox at noon Sunday. All those games in St. Albert.

The 13U AA Reds Team Wray is in Edmonton for games against Sherwood Park at noon and Irma at 6 p.m. Saturday and the Parkland Twins Sunday at noon.

The 13U Reds AA Team Aldred is in Spruce Grove for games against Drayton Valley at 3 p.m. Saturday and the Parkland Twins at 9 a.m. and Leduc at noon Sunday

The 15U Reds AA Team Sinclair is in Drayton Valley for games against Sherwood Park at 3 and Leduc at 6 on Saturday and Drayton Valley at noon Sunday.

The U15 Reds AA Team Weston is in Stony Plain for a 3 p.m. start versus Parkland Saturday and then against Fort Saskatchewan at 9 a.m. and St. Alberta t noon on Sunday.

The U18 Reds AA team is in Cold Lake this weekend. They play Camrose at 3 p.m. Saturday and Bonnyville at 9 a.m. and the Edmonton Padres at noon on Sunday.
