RCMP on scene of serious collision near Sexsmith

UPDATE: Grande Prairie RCMP say they are clear from the collision on Highway 674 and Range Road 53 near Sexsmith and normal traffic flow has resumed.

Grande Prairie RCMP say they are on the scene of a serious collision. Mounties issued the following news release just after 8:30 Friday evening:

Grande Prairie RCMP are currently on scene of a serious motor vehicle collision on Highway 674 and Range Road 53 near Sexsmith. Traffic is being detoured in both directions. RCMP anticipate remaining on scene for several hours.
