Canada finishes fourth at boy’s U17 volleyball tournament

Canada wound up in fourth place at the U17 Norceca Boy’s Pan American Cup volleyball tournament played in Colima, Mexico.

Canada lost 3-1 to Cuba in Saturday’s bronze medal game. Canada won the first set 25-23 then lost the next three 25-19, 25-18 and 25-19.

Grande Prairie’s Kade Funk is with Team Canada.

Puerto Rico beat Mexico 3-2 in the gold medal game. Puerto Rico had advanced with a 3-1 win over Canada in Friday’s semi-final round.
