NWP accepting jersey designs from Indigenous artists

Northwestern Polytechnic is calling on Indigenous artists to help design a new jersey to be worn by their sports teams.

Director of Athletics James Philips says they are looking for a design that reflects the culture, people and relationships of Treaty 8 territory that the Wolves can wear with pride.

NWP is represented in various sports, including basketball, soccer, cross-country, indoor track and volleyball.

Indigenous artists have until Monday, July 8 to submit their design concepts, with the winner to be announced July 15.
