UPDATE: Grande Prairie Rural RCMP have issued the following update:

Grande Prairie RCMP advise that the collision scene has been partially cleared and one lane is open. Motorists can proceed through the area.
It is unknown when both lanes will be open.

ORIGINAL STORY: Grande Prairie RCMP are requesting the public avoid Township Road 704 near the Wapiti Nordic Ski Club while recovery crews tow away a vehicle.

Mounties say at approximately 10:20 a.m. this morning they received a report of a single vehicle collision in the area.
